Taking care of your pet as they reach their last moments.
Paws at Peace provides a compassionate relief option for pets of low-income McLennan County pet owners. Care is for medical reasons like illness, advanced age, or disease.

Care is arranged well in advance, by appointment. Text us at 254-776-7303 to begin the process. You will receive a response within 24 business hours.

All after-care options will be provided to you by ABC staff before your pet's appointment. If you choose cremation, ABC partners with God's Creatures Pet Crematory in China Spring. Our team will coordinate your pet's aftercare with their staff before your scheduled appointment. You will pay for aftercare cremation services along with ABC's partially subsidized service fees. Aftercare services are not paid by ABC.

Need To Know
Cost
Paws at Peace services cost $75 - $150 based on what you are able to pay. This does not include the cost of local cremation. If you choose cremation for your aftercare, you will pay for your aftercare services along with the discussed clinic fees after discussing your options.
Aftercare Options
We understand how hard it may be to choose what aftercare option may be best for your furry family member - but our team is here every step of the way. Choices range from private cremation, communal cremation or burial, at home burial, and more. Our team will review your options before your scheduled appointment.
Is It Time?
Our team is deeply committed to supporting you and your pet. We’ll help schedule a clinic visit where our experienced veterinarians will discuss the procedure at your comfort level, assess your pet, and help determine the best next steps.
