Dog Services
If you are in need, free spay and neuter for cats or dogs of low-income and qualifying families is available to McLennan County residents as donations and municipal funding allow. If you need one-time household assistance, mention your need in the Note Field during the appointment-scheduling process. Address verification is required. We ARE currently accepting appointments from all counties. Funding assistance is not currently available for pet families out of McLennan County.
Spay & Neuter - $100

Surgery age range is 4 months (16 weeks) to 7 years (younger and older exceptions are at veterinarian's discretion).

Additional $10 cost for dogs in heat or pregnant.

Cost includes headcone and take-home pain medication important for your dog's post-op healing.

Additional $30 charge for dogs larger than 100 pounds.

Social Dog Package - $70

Includes Bordetella for dogs that have this lifestyle need (are social or regularly groomed or boarded).
Puppy Package - $125

Package includes boosters, deworming, microchip, spay/neuter surgery between 4-6 months old, Rabies vaccine, and one month of flea and heartworm medication.

Surgery must be completed by six months of age.

For social puppies (ones that may be regularly groomed or boarded), a Bordetella vaccine is included for $10.
