Please do not use flea shampoo, dips, or flea collars in the week before surgery. These may interfere with the anesthesia used for surgery. Please consult a staff member if you plan to use other flea or tick products such as topical treatments during this time.
One Day Before
Your pet may have nothing to eat after 8:00 pm the night before surgery. Your pet may drink water, even the morning of surgery.
