The public is invited to free Feral Cat Forums, hosted by the Animal Birth Control Clinic. These help residents who feed stray cats by explaining the benefits and processes of Trap-Neuter-Return, or TNR.
TNR is a compassionate alternative to feral cat control and maintenance. People interested in volunteering with the current TNR efforts are also encouraged to attend.
The Animal Birth Control Clinic and members of the Heart of Texas Feral Friends will share TNR success stories, provide a live demonstration for setting up a humane trap, and help feral cat caregivers organize a plan to stabilize their own group of feral cats, known as a colony.
